Bangladesh national flag is the symbol of Bangladesh national independence and sovereignty. Its size is 10:6. It’s usually made of cotton cloth. Flags made of linen, silk and other fabrics are also found. The bottle green ground of the flag stands for the green landscape of Bangladesh. The blood-red sun in the middle of the flag bears the memory of the millions of people who laid down their lives during the War of independence. We look upon Bangladesh flag as a sacred thing. We can uphold its honor by doing our duties honestly and sincerely and trying our best to secure for Bangladesh an honorable place among the nations of the world.
