The observance of the 21st February

The 21st February is a red latter day in the history of Bangladesh. On that day the language movement of the Bangladesh reached the highest point and some of the student leaders died for the noble cause. Infact the Banglaesh nationaim was established and the freedom fighting was started. On that day. So this day will be observed in our school in a befitting manner. We tried our every years as a National day. This year this memorably day was observed in our school in a befitting manner. We tried our best to make it a grand success. We did not enjoy a wink of sleep in the previous night. We gathered in the school premises in the midnight and made all arrangements to lead the prabhat feri.



We marched to the Azimpur burial ground. Placed floral wreaths upon the graves of the matyres and showed our heart felt regards for them. As we marched on we song. Can we forget this day which is besmeared with the blood of my brothers? From Azimpur, we marched to Shahid Minar and placed floral wreaths upon the alter with due respect. Here we listened to the stirring speech of Bangladesh and took the solemn oath that we might also lay down our lives for the cause of our motherland at the time of her need.

It was now morning. We published a Souvenir in memory of this. We enjoyed the meeting and function all over the day with due gravity and solemnity.

MOTHER TERESA

Mother Teresa was born on 26th August 1910. Her father’s was an Albanian and he was builder. She was born in Skopje in Macedonia. She was the third child of her parents. She was very polite and modest. She wanted to be a helping hand to the destitute. At the age of 18 she join the sister of our lady of Loreto in Ireland. In 1928 she began her journey to India. In 1931 she began teaching at a Calcutta girl’s high school. To make her vision fruitful she founded Nirmal Hriday in 1952. in 1953 she started an orphanage. Than she set up a missionary too. Bangladesh national flag is the symbol of Bangladesh national independence and sovereignty. Its size is 10:6. It’s usually made of cotton cloth. Flags made of linen, silk and other fabrics are also found. The bottle green ground of the flag stands for the green landscape of Bangladesh. The blood-red sun in the middle of the flag bears the memory of the millions of people who laid down their lives during the War of independence. We look upon Bangladesh flag as a sacred thing. We can uphold its honor by doing our duties honestly and sincerely and trying our best to secure for Bangladesh an honorable place among the nations of the world.

The person who does the work of farming is known as a farmer. In Bangladesh the life of a farmer is not so good. He inherits a little land. He is illiterate. He does not know how to plough his land scientifically. He leads a very poor life. His life is meant for struggle of existence.

The world ‘E-mail” comes from Electronic mail. I t is the communication of textual messages via electronic means. In our every day life we need various means of communications such as post office, telegram, telephone, fax, mobile, E-mail etc. but among them stands first.

E-mail has brought about a revolutionary change in our communication system. In this system we must need a personal computer, a telephone connection and a modem. In a second we can send our messages to other side of the world. There are separate mailboxes in this system. So acute privacy can be maintained in this system

E-mail is very cheap and easy. It has the ability to reduce the consumption of paper in the office. E-mail is more useful than telephone. It is far cheaper than telephone calls. Trade and commerce has become greatly dependent on this speedy mode of communication. There are a lot of cyber cafes in the towns. They provide the opportunity very cheaply. So those who do not have no personal internet access, they can visit the cyber cafes.

Still it has some disadvantages. Sometimes, it carries virus program along with the news and the system of the computer can be crashed. Moreover some bad e-mail users can threat anybody through the e-mail as the privacy are maintained strictly in e-mail.

Although it has some demerits, it is still the best way of communication. We should use e-mail to get in touch with modern technological progression.

The practice that we witness in the Bangladesh is that when a teen-aged girl is just blooming like a beautiful bud is married to a boy of 17 to 18 and sent to father’s in-law house. There she has to do many household works since down to dusk under the guidance of her mother in-law sometimes with cruelty. The unfortunate girl who could learn many things in a school and could enjoy many things with her friends in such an age being married works hard in an unknown family. If the husband and members of the of family are kind to her everything’s is okay. But, if they are cruel, she loses everything. She become mother of some kids. She treated badly and she suffers from malnutrition and anemia and one day she may die. Sometimes, girls of 9 to 10 are married off to men of 40 to 50. this is a serious inhuman practice. In such cases, these teen aged girls just wait to be tortured everyday physically and mentally.

Going of electricity means load-shedding. Nowadays it has become very common and usual. It is the most serious problem of the Bangladesh. Last year I was preparing for my S.S.C Examination. It was the month of March. There were only a few days before the commencement of examination. Then I was at my reading desk and was reading and revising some important topics in English. My preparation for English was not very good. So I was reading very attentively. Then the light went off. I was in total darkness. I felt very much annoyed as I had many things to read. I bought a piece of candle and lighted it and went on reading in great hardship. The whole area was without electricity for three hours.
